The new iPad, as it was named by people from Apple and this is what I will call it, was launched on March 7. For me, the big launch was accompanied by some disappointments. Apple has launched a new tablet and I can say that it is more refreshing than the old iPad, an upgrade more or less useful.
Outside the new iPad strikingly resembles the iPad 2. I, for myself, did not seen differences. Perhaps that is a risk and you do not know what you buy, the new iPad or iPad 2. The differences in thickness and its 30 grams also cannot be perceived at first sight. I should mention that I am not a big Apple fan because of their policy, so I can admit that I am not very common with these Apple products.
And now we will analyze the new features that Apple has implemented in the new iPad. We begin with the statement made by Tim Cook (Apple CEO), who stated that the new A5X processor can provide performance 4 times higher than the rival Nvidia Tegra 3 platform. Many publications have tested the new iPad compared with ASUS Transformer Prime, the first tablet that came equipped with Tegra 3. Results of the iPad 3 vs. Asus Transformer Prime "battle" - A5X. vs Tegra 3 are not quite what they said. Perhaps in some tests there was a difference of four times between A5X vs. Tegra 3.
In fact, a normal user will not consider whether its iPad is 4 times more powerful in certain applications than other tablets. For an iPad user matter only that the applications to run without delay, to enjoy the experience of speed. From my point of view, everything moves very well, from browsing and up to gaming. Applications can be installed quickly and can be used with a simple "click". Moreover, it was shown that the iPad 2 and the new iPad have similar performance in practical use many times.
We meet a notable addition to the screen. The new iPad comes with Retina Display and resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels (density of 264 pixels/inch), a giant leap from 1024 x 768 pixels (resolution seen in iPad 2). Apple has praised the existing 3.1 million pixels from the tablet's screen. Visual experience is pleasant, images are presented clearly and you can enjoy the bright colors. But you need eagle eyes to be able to perceive how it goes at the pixel level. In normal use - browsing, gaming, office - visual differences between the new iPad and iPad 2 can be perceived more difficult. Maybe because the model came with a plastic film and was slightly disturbing. I could not observe the quality of the new screen.
The model I tested, Apple iPad new 16GB WiFi + 4G - Black, and came with 4G/LTE technology.
Another specification that was stressed was the camera with 5 megapixel - more powerful compared to that found in iPad 2. Personally I don't test cameras on tablets. Can't really see the usefulness. The only camera that matters is the video conferencing. Otherwise it seems unnecessary. I know we will see how many users take pictures with iPad tablet, but probably we will be amused by the situation and we will take their pictures with Smartphones.
